General Construction DETAILS 1st Shift | Location: Columbus, OH. About the General Construction role: Rough / General construction job description – Initial construction and finishing work on clinic-cabin interiors, installation of medical cabinets & medical equipment for mobile medical & dental clinics. – Hanging or installation of wall mount items, towel holders, soap dispensers, photo panels. – Prep and installation of close out flanges and covers. – HVAC diffusers install. – Door prep and install. – Prep and install of skin and interior insulation. Desired skills and experience: – Interior framing, trim-work, cabinetry-installation & other general carpentry skills, including fiberboard, drywall, ceiling tile installation, etc. – Remodeling or property maintenance experience, i.e. light plumbing, fixture repair, door installation etc. – Strong tape-measure skills; ability to follow custom specifications. – Experience using hand/power tools, chop saws etc. – Light HVAC, diffuser installation, return grills and flex ducting. – Light assembly work, i.e. drafting chairs, close outs, covers, etc. About the Electrical role: – Entry level wire routing, harness making, J-box and relay work to complicated main electrical panels, inverter systems and telecommunications setups. – Units are wired for 110v main power off a shore cord as well as generator power. – A variety of simple 12v systems for hydraulics and diesel heaters are also used on most units. Desired skills and experience: – Wire routing, harness building – Experience in the installation of electrical outlets, Cat6, wiring lights and possibly main panels. – A working knowledge of AC/DC power. – Ability to troubleshoot and use electrical testing devices. – Experience with hand, air powered tools and a tape measure. – 12v installation for alarm, hydraulics and diesel heaters. About the Welding role: – Position includes the prep, cutting and fabrication of various steel and aluminum components ranging from undercarriage boxes, stairs, door and window frames, awning guards as well as the repair of cracked welds, plugging holes. Mainly – Aluminum and steel MiG, and a small amount of TiG.
