Job Description

Pay Range $15 – $18 Hours Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pm Summary: Uses multiple tools and machines to package, assemble, label, pang, vulcanize, and pick parts according to the process instructions given. Also will potentially be asked to use a band saw, drill press, table stripper, cutter, sander, cord cutter, torque screwdriver, and/or other hand fabrication tools as needed. Processes set-up, product measurement and qualification, and process troubleshooting in addition to running production for the above required tasks. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Uses appropriate tools or machines to produce products in accordance with production needs. 2. Produces assigned products in accordance with verbal and written instructions. 3. Completes equipment set-up's in accordance with customer specifications and quality procedures. 4. Records length of time and quantity of materials used for each job. 5. Inspects parts and documents findings on appropriate paperwork as needed. 6. Helps to train fellow employees or temps on machines, reading blueprints, understanding routings, and policies. 7. Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas. 8. Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations. 9. Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, and/or personal injuries. 10. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. 11. Performs other related duties as assigned.
