Job Description

1st Shift – Pattern Rigger 5:15 am – 3:30 pm – Monday – Thursday with Friday as an overtime shift Pay: $19.00 – $26.00 based on experience Pewaukee, WI This company became a ISO 9001:2015 certified specialty foundry in 2011, allowing us to provide premier service and casting products. Job Summary Utilizes a variety of equipment to layout and construct patterns and associated parts used to form sand molds and cores. Works with numerous materials in the construction process, metal, plastics, and wood to produce patterns and associated parts to meet customer supplied drawings by performing the following tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Determines proper construction of equipment for feasibility of production. * Lays out current design on paper and/or lay out template board. * Works with wood, plastic, or metal materials from which pattern will be constructed. * Assembles constructed material by the use of supplied fasteners. * Perform measurement layout of constructed pattern and parts so as to confirm drawing requirements. * Aligns and mounts parts to preferred board and or boxes for production requirements. * Adds all gating and risers to mounted pattern. * Prepares protection on patterns and parts by the way of paints and lacquers. * Builds gauges and templates which are used to aid manufacturing methods. * Builds, molds and prototypes patterns and molds to aid in construction of equipment. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. * Performs duties in a safe manner and follows all of the safety procedures * Undergoes required training in applicable work instructions, Quality Assurance procedures, and quality polices.

Job Requirements

Qualifications * High School, GED or equivalent education * 8+ years pattern making experience, or Completion of pattern making apprenticeship program.
