Direct Support Professional Job Details Location: New Albany, IN Schedule: 2nd Shift | Wednesday – Saturday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Pay: $16.00 – $18.00/hour Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Direct Support Professional Role Crown Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide essential care and daily life assistance to individuals with intellectual and mental disabilities in a group home setting. Key Responsibilities · Assist residents with daily life skills, including dressing, bathing, and meal preparation. · Take residents on outings such as shopping trips, doctor’s appointments, and recreational activities. · Drive residents using a company-provided SUV for transportation needs. · Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and organized living space. · Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering independence and quality of life. Direct Support Professional Requirements · Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. · Ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) Check for driving eligibility. · Compassionate and patient approach to caregiving. · Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
