Job Description
Unloads overseas containers and trucked in containers, reconciling to
vendor packing list and utilizing WMS structure sheet to palletize correctly for storage in the
Distribution Center.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
– Filling and transporting of customer orders, using industrial lifts, working up to 25 feet
in the air with a 5-point harness.
– Ensures each order is accurately picked in a timely manner.
– All other duties as assigned by manager.
– May be assigned to various other DC departments when needed to meet company
goals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
– Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing list and structure sheets.
– Ability to write and understand various Receiving reports.
– Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
– Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and pallet count.
– Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as quantities and combined box counts.
– Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram
form.
– Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
– Ability to adapt and change as business needs change daily.

– High school degree or equivalent preferred.
– Ability/availability to work overtime as needed.

– Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and
color vision. Employee will be required to hear warning horns, bells, alarms and oral
instructions for safety purposes.
