CDL Class B Straight Truck Driver Requirements

● Valid CDL Class B license (required)
● Ability to operate a straight truck safely and efficiently
● Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
● Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
● Strong customer service and communication skills
● Ability to complete pre- and post-trip inspections
● Reliable attendance and punctuality

About the CDL Class B Straight Truck Driver Role

As a CDL Class B Straight Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:
● Safely operating a straight truck to transport household goods and storage containers
● Delivering and picking up storage containers at client locations
● Driving routes exclusively within the state of Wisconsin
● Returning home daily (no overnight routes)
● Loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and storage containers
● Securing cargo properly to prevent damage during transport
● Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
● Following DOT regulations and company safety policies
● Providing professional and courteous customer service at all job sites
● Communicating effectively with dispatch and team members
● Maintaining cleanliness and basic upkeep of the assigned vehicle
