Our client is a full-service sheet metal fabricator located in the St. Charles, IL area. They are looking for Laser and Turret Punch Press Setup Operators. Pay will be based on experience but can range $25-$29/hour. 1st and 2nd shifts available! The Laser and Turret Punch Press Setup Operator role will involve setup, tooling and loading in machine to produce a variety of small, medium and/or large parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances. The responsibilities of the Laser and Turret Punch Press Setup Operator position will include but are not limited to: • Operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective AMADA brand equipment • Perform machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc. • Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC) • Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision • Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control
