POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. Utilize welding equipment to make repairs to discontinuities of submerged arc weld seams on steel pipe. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: ? Proficient in assigned welding techniques ? Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) ? Conventional and precision measuring instruments ? Process inspection, certification, and documentation ? Welding equipment maintenance ? Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools ? Utilize various hand tools and equipment. ? Utilize mobile device applications and programs. ? Safety and Housekeeping ? Other Duties as assigned by direct supervisor

? Steel toe boots and sleeved shirts & welding hood required. Employee’s responsibility. ? Hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, protective gloves provided by company ? Successful completion of an internal welding test ? One-year experience in various forms of welding ? Must be able to work in changing ambient temperatures. ? Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time. • Must have reliable transportation.
