Day Treatment Specialist Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday School Year Hours: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Summer Hours (Late May – Late August): 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour Position Type: Full-Time About the Day Treatment Specialist Role Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced and compassionate Day Treatment Specialist to lead therapeutic programming for youth in a community behavioral health setting in Louisville, KY. This role is key to helping clients meet daily treatment goals through structured activities, observations, and one-on-one support. Candidates should be passionate about behavioral health and capable of leading and mentoring clients in a safe and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities -Lead and implement therapeutic day treatment activities -Draft and record detailed client notes and behavioral observations -Maintain a positive and supportive emotional climate for individuals and groups -Monitor client progress and intervene appropriately to ensure safety and goal achievement -Supervise and guide clients in daily routines and expectations -Communicate effectively with team members about client needs and care updates -Assist with client transportation using a company-provided vehicle -Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all clients throughout programming Requirements Education: -Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related Human Services field (required) Experience: -Previous experience in behavioral health or youth services required -Experience in a community mental health setting strongly preferred Certifications & Skills: -CPR/First Aid (preferred, or willing to obtain) -Must complete CARF and competency training within the first 6 months of employment -Valid driver’s license and good driving record (required) -Excellent communication, observation, and conflict-resolution skills -Ability to maintain a structured, compassionate, and therapeutic environment About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
