Job Description
Responsible for forming material required per order to meet scheduled requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Set up and operate hydraulic press brake for established work
• Understand dimensions tolerances and angles of formed part
• Calculate bend locations, appropriate tonnage and tooling for each part being formed
• Verify all parts are present and correctly formed to specs – notify management if the project is
missing parts or if a part is incorrect
• Organize work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts properly on
tables or pallets to eliminate double handling and work efficiently
• Keep production board updated with status of orders in Press Brake department
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts machine within
capabilities. Reports all machine malfunctions to Management.
• Press brake experience
Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbally and written in the English language
