Yard Worker Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: $18.00 – $19.00/hour Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Yard Worker Role Crown Staffing is seeking a hardworking and dependable Yard Worker to support a busy fencing and lumber yard in Louisville, KY. This hands-on position involves loading/unloading materials, preparing orders, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean, organized outdoor yard. If you’re reliable, enjoy physical work, and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, this is the role for you! Key Responsibilities -Load and unload fencing and lumber materials -Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery -Assist customers with locating and loading products -Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and yard equipment (training provided) -Maintain yard cleanliness, organization, and safety -Receive and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy -Report low stock or damaged items to supervisor -Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines -Perform additional duties as assigned by yard supervisor or management Yard Worker Requirements -Prior experience in a lumberyard, fencing company, warehouse, or construction is a plus -Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions -Basic math and measurement skills -Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic -Team player with good communication skills -Forklift experience or certification is a plus About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
