Crown Staffing is Hiring – Cutting Machine Operator Location: Fairfield, OH Shift: Rotating 12-hour shifts Position Summary: The Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used to cut, bend, or straighten materials. The operator performs quality checks, records data, and ensures that all equipment is functioning properly. They will also inspect finished workpieces for defects and sort any defective pieces accordingly. Key Responsibilities: -Set up and operate cutting machines according to specifications -Perform quality inspections and in-process material checks -Use basic PLC controls to cut material as specified on orders -Start and stop machines as needed -Perform routine machine maintenance -Record production data accurately -Create labels and package materials per order requirements -Inspect materials visually to ensure quality standards -Follow safety rules and read related documentation -Communicate effectively and participate in team activities -Adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment
