Rebar Fabrication Associate (VMS Account) Pay Rate: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM We are currently hiring for a Rebar Fabrication Associate to support production operations. This role is hands-on and requires working with steel, rebar, and various fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities: Pull, cut, and bend rebar assemblies according to engineering prints and schedules. Stage and organize rebar materials on handling skids and storage racks. Assist in bending operations by lifting, positioning, and securing metal bars. Work with shear operators to supply, clear, and stage steel bars for cutting. Break open bundles, shake out bars, and prepare stock for fabrication. Fabricate work pieces by shearing, bending, threading, or auto-bonding as required. Inspect completed pieces using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards. Bundle, tie, and prepare finished rebar for shipping, including protective packaging. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Previous experience in rebar fabrication, metalworking, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and work specifications. Skilled in the use of measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges. Comfortable operating and assisting with bending, shearing, and fabrication machinery. Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
