Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Elizabethtown, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM Pay: $56.00/hour Assignment Length: 13 weeks Nuclear Medicine Technologist Requirements -Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist -BLS certification required -Active Kentucky Nuclear Medicine License required -Experience with GE, Philips, and Siemens imaging equipment preferred About the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Role -Explain imaging procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns -Perform patient assessments to ensure proper preparation for scans -Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive drugs) for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures -Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including PET scanners -Adjust settings to obtain high-quality diagnostic images -Review images for clarity, completeness, and diagnostic accuracy -Follow strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks -Keep accurate records of procedures, patient data, and imaging results using hospital information systems -Administer therapeutic doses of radiopharmaceuticals for conditions such as cancer Key Skills & Competencies -Strong technical knowledge of radioactive materials and imaging physics -Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for real-time decision-making -Clear communication skills for patient interactions and team collaboration -High attention to detail for accurate imaging and thorough documentation About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
