Ink Technician – 3rd Shift (Direct Hire)
Location: Springdale, OH
Hours: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Crown Staffing is hiring an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Ink Technician to join a dynamic production team on the 3rd shift in Springdale, OH. This is a direct hire position with an opportunity to become a permanent member of the team. You will support the Press Department by preparing and blending inks and coatings to meet production and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain a safe and organized ink work area
-Follow standard operating procedures using ink dispensing equipment, color management devices, and business software to ensure quality standards
-Record color formulas and issue mixing procedures to production workers
-Keep accurate files of color ink prints and formulas as printing standards
-Review daily production schedules to ensure timely ink preparation and staging
-Maintain toners on the Automatic Dispensing System and perform housekeeping tasks
-Verify ink components against job tickets to ensure proper usage
-Perform quality color checks and troubleshoot ink-related press issues
-Process ink returns and recertify to standards
-Receive ink deliveries and store supplies according to inventory processes
-Perform daily and periodic cleaning to maintain 5S standards in the manufacturing area
-Carry out related duties as assigned by the production manager
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Minimum 1 year experience in printing or ink procedures preferred
-Proactive approach to continuous improvement initiatives
-Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills
-Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn color management software
-Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as stooping, squatting, crawling, and kneeling
-Specific vision abilities required including close and distance vision, color acuity, and focus adjustment
-Good judgment of color for color hue evaluation
-Problem-solving skills to handle variable situations with limited standardization
