Now Hiring: Expansion/Extrusion Operator – Fairfield, OH Crown Staffing is hiring an Expansion/Extrusion Operator for 1st shift in Fairfield, OH. Schedule: 2 work days, 2 days off, then 3 work days (36 hours one week, 48 hours the next) Hours: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay: $23 – $25/hour (based on experience) Job Summary: Seeking a skilled operator with 3+ years machine operating experience or 2+ years extrusion operator experience to monitor and supervise machine production in the expansion/extrusion area. Key Responsibilities: -Changeover, start-up, and safe operation of machinery -Manage the spooling rewind function -Complete paperwork for material and labor tracking -Support machine maintenance and servicing -Monitor product dimensions and quality through self-inspection -Communicate equipment issues and collaborate with maintenance -Follow work instructions, company policies, and safety protocols -Participate in continuous improvement projects and Health, Safety & Environmental initiatives -Train new and junior employees on SOPs, safety, and quality standards -Other duties as assigned by management

Knowledge & Skills: -Ability to read gauges, perform measurements, and calculate tolerances -Basic computer and data entry skills -Manual dexterity with a strong willingness to learn -Ability to work independently and in a team environment -Familiarity with Lean principles and SPC charts preferred -Good communication and active listening skills -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment -Physical Requirements: -Standing for long periods -Frequent wrist, hand, and finger movement -Lifting and moving spools weighing up to 50 lbs -Occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching Education & Experience: -High school diploma or equivalent required -Post-secondary education preferred (college or trade school) -Manufacturing experience required -Experience with mechanical measuring equipment and production equipment setup -Extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding experience a plus If you meet these qualifications and want to join a great team, call or text Crown Staffing at 513-248-0110 to apply!
