Job Description
We are seeking a MOVE COORDINATOR to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. They provide service support to our corporate account customers relocating for their company. This individual works closely with our transferring customer to schedule and organize all aspects of their move. They interact closely with several service areas within the organization, including Operations, Claims, Billing, and other various departments. They also work closely with our vendor network to ensure all required services are authorized and scheduled.
Responsibilities for our Move Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
• Act as the Transferee’s main point of contact for coordination & movement of household goods;
• Communicate with customers to coordinate moves and ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction;
• Oversee all assigned corporate moves from point of shipment acceptance to delivery. This includes monitoring and tracking the coordination of all corporate moves with suppliers from the point of shipment acceptance to delivery.
• Receive survey results and verify all quoted services are following account policies;
• Provide estimates to our accounts based on a survey of goods to be moved;
• Work directly with the agency network to schedule all moving services, address critical needs, and resolve problems. This includes working with the agency network and all third-party service providers to ensure timely communication of transferee-requested order fulfillment and change management.
• Identify policy expectations and work with the account for authorizations and other move details;
• Assist with providing proper paperwork to ensure timely billing to the client.
The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (required);
• A minimum of 1 year of customer service experience is preferred:
• Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skills;
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
• Strong organizational skills, including maintaining an organized work space and the ability to complete tasks according to schedule;
• Tenacious attention to detail;
• Ability to handle heavy phone work;
• Must be able to demonstrate previous successful experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• Knowledge and ability to use typical office equipment (PC, calculator, fax machine, etc).;
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and fractions.
