Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to efficiently move, load, and unload products within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members. Duties Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse. Load and unload shipments accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order picking. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Collaborate with team members to build pallets for shipping and ensure timely order fulfillment. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any maintenance needs. Experience Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in materials handling Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanners is advantageous. Experience working in a distribution center environment is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and work in a physically demanding role. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Ability to drive a 24′ Freightliner truck
