Texture Technician Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm Pay Rate: $17 New Berlin, WI This company is an expert in texturing, engraving, and machining services for businesses in the plastics and metal forming industries. Texture Technician Job Summary: -Use acetone to thoroughly clean all objects (metal, plastic, etc.) to remove oils, dirt, and residues. This ensures a clean base for optimal tape adhesion. -Carefully apply tape to the cleaned surfaces, ensuring it is firmly secured and fully covers the intended areas. If necessary, cut precise openings or notches to accommodate features such as holes, edges, or components. -Before proceeding, closely inspect the taped areas to confirm accurate placement and full coverage of areas to be protected. Ensure there are no gaps, wrinkles, or loose edges -Once the tape placement is verified, the object may be safely introduced into the acid bath or etching process.

-Familiarity with handling and preparing materials such as metal and plastic for chemical processing. -Experience using acetone and other industrial solvents for surface cleaning. -Proficient in the precise application of masking materials (e.g., tape) for protective or selective coating purposes. -Ability to accurately cut and modify masking materials to accommodate complex geometries. -Experience in inspecting and verifying masking integrity before exposure to corrosive chemicals (e.g., acid etching).
