Winchester, KY
Schedule: 12-hour night shift | 2/2/3 rotation | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: $30/hour
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overtime: Possible
Maintenance Technician Requirements
3–5 years of experience in plastic injection molding and/or hydraulics in a manufacturing environment preferred
Strong background in hydraulics, hydraulic controls, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, and electrical systems
Proficient in reading schematics (hydraulic and electrical) and troubleshooting equipment
Experience with injection molding machines and robots (Fanuc, Engel, Krauss Maffei, Milacron, Arburg) preferred
Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, CMMS software, 5S, and Lean methodology (preferred)
High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred
Willing and able to work a 2/2/3 schedule on 12-hour night shifts
About the Maintenance Technician Role
Troubleshoot and repair machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure
Work with large hydraulic pumps and valves powered by motors up to 1000 hp, as well as electrical systems from 115V–480V
Support air compressors, molding machines, HMI interfaces, Fanuc robot controls, and overall injection molding processes
Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance according to established schedules
Maintain and repair electric drive motors, hydraulic systems, VFD controls, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders
Support and troubleshoot auxiliary systems, including chillers, nitrogen systems, and water systems
Assist with technical training and mentorship of fellow technicians
Participate in improvement projects aimed at increasing reliability and reducing downtime
Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repair to address root cause issues
