Electronics Technician I (Automation & Controls) Job Description Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday–Thursday Monday–Wednesday: 7:30 PM – 6:30 AM Thursday: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM Pay Rate: $65,000 annually Position Type: Direct Hire Education & Experience Requirements: -Associate’s degree in electronics or related field -Minimum 1 year of experience in maintaining electronic control devices in a manufacturing or production environment -Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered -Proficiency in ladder logic and PLC interfacing required Position Summary: The Electronics Technician I (Automation & Controls) will provide crucial electronic and electrical support to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance production floor operations. The ideal candidate will be skilled in PLC systems, electrical troubleshooting, and fabrication of control systems. Key Responsibilities: -Install and wire control devices using PLCs, sensors, motors, and servos -Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic problems on the production floor -Maintain and support electronic equipment throughout the facility -Assist in development and upgrading of monitoring systems for packaging and production equipment -Collaborate with Maintenance Department for problem resolution -Design and fabricate supplemental equipment for projects -Wire and fabricate control panels for conveying and packaging systems -Perform electrical preventive maintenance -Create and update electrical schematics and drawings -Adapt to flexible scheduling for machine maintenance and project deadlines -Exhibit computer literacy and proficiency in ladder logic programming -Communicate with packaging hardware using programming tools About Crown Staffing: Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
