Job Title: Polishing-Grinding-Sanding Schedule: M-TH 6 am-3 pm, F- 6 am-12 pm Sheet metal fabricator, machining and welding shop. We manufacture a wide range of high-quality components and finished products. Experience: Metal Polishing: 3 years ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Use a variety of methods, abrasives, air-powered tools, and equipment to safely and efficiently grind and polish metal materials to meet required results. Polish components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Perform light maintenance on air-powered tools to maintain maximum tool efficiency and report equipment faults for repairs. Responsible for performing Quality Assurance checks on work to ensure product specifications are maintained.

Must be capable of learning and efficiently performing multiple functions throughout the polishing department, including but not limited to grinding and polisher stainless steel parts and equipment. Must be capable of using a variety of methods, abrasives, and tools to safely and efficiently grind and polish materials. Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching/working overhead, and standing for long periods while performing physically demanding repetitive job tasks. Capable of regular lifting of randomly sized items up to 60 pounds. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Capable of working independently and within a team-focused work group with minimal supervision.
