Job Description
Crown Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our team. Position: State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs)
Location: Georgetown, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Responsibilities:
– Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
-Perform regular monitoring of vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
-Help residents or patients with mobility challenges to move safely, including transferring to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
-Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding as necessary. Ensure that dietary restrictions are followed.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, including documenting changes in health status and reporting any concerns to the nursing team.
-Effectively communicate with residents, patients, and their families to provide emotional support and address any questions or concerns.
-Work collaboratively with the nursing and healthcare team to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
-Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to create a safe and clean environment for residents and patients.
-Stay current with the training and certifications required for the STNA role. Participate in ongoing educational opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
-State certification as a Nursing Assistant (STNA) is required.
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-CPR and First Aid certifications.
-Ability to lift and move patients with varying levels of assistance.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Compassionate and empathetic attitude toward residents, patients, and their families.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
