RN – TB Outreach Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $55.00/hour Position Type: Contract About the RN – TB Outreach Role Crown Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a TB Outreach role in Louisville, KY. This position involves working in clinics, schools, and homes to provide general nursing care, health education, and disease prevention services. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and communication skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work independently in community-based settings. Key Responsibilities -Provide general nursing care in clinics, schools, homes, and community settings -Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized healthcare plans -Counsel patients on health status, risks, and recommended care -Instruct patients on health education and disease prevention -Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with exams, histories, immunizations, tests, and treatments -Conduct growth and development assessments for children and refer as needed -Screen for communicable diseases and disorders -Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinic operational procedures -Collaborate with school and community personnel to support patient care -Recommend appropriate actions for patient complaints in accordance with protocols -Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives RN Requirements -Active RN license in the state of Kentucky -Experience in public health, primary care, or community nursing preferred -Strong assessment and patient education skills -Ability to work in varied environments (clinics, homes, schools) -Excellent communication and documentation skills -Compassionate and service-minded approach Next Steps Thank you for your interest in the RN – TB Outreach position!
