Crown Staffing is hiring in Middletown, OH for a Production Worker (Packer Helper) – 2nd Shift Pay: $18/hour Hours: 2nd Shift, 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday with mandatory overtime Fridays and Saturdays as needed Job Summary: The Packer Helper is responsible for packing tubing, preparing packaging materials, and bundling tubing as it comes off the end finishing equipment in the Mill department. Responsibilities: -Load tubing into racks or bundles, ensuring proper alignment -Inspect tubing for surface imperfections such as scratches, dents, or poor workmanshi -Separate conforming and nonconforming tubing and handle accordingly -Place Finished Goods Tags on bundles or racks for inventory -Operate rack moving devices on finishing equipment when applicable -Bundle and band tubing using wood, banding material, and equipment -Prepare packing materials for current or next orders -Assist operator helper in length change on finishing equipment -Apply rust preventative oil per customer specs -Prepare and inspect tubes for inventory release -Report non-conforming material immediately to supervisors –Notify operators to stop line if suspect material is found -Maintain a clean work area -Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications: -Ability to operate tow motor, overhead crane, and bundling equipment -General knowledge of tube production and finishing processes -Ability to use measuring instruments like micrometers and tape measures -Physically capable of handling tubing ranging from 3/8” to 3.0” in diameter and up to 28 feet in length Skills: -Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions -Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively -Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with units related to money, weight, volume, and distance -Ability to follow detailed but straightforward instructions Ready to join a hardworking team with opportunities for growth?
