Material Handler (3rd Shift) Job Details Location: Shelbyville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM Pay Rate: $16.46/hour Position Type: Temp-to-Hire About the Material Handler Role Crown Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Material Handler for a manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. This role is critical to warehouse operations and involves safe handling, movement, and documentation of goods across departments. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable operating lift equipment. Key Responsibilities -Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and handle materials. -Verify tags, markings, and labels for accuracy. -Operate forklifts and other lift trucks to move materials between plants, warehouses, and designated storage or shipping areas. -Maintain and organize warehouse stock and assist with monthly inventory counts. -Assemble, pack, seal, label, and stack finished parts for shipment. -Prepare and apply stencils and labels as required. -Maintain clean work areas and report any mechanical or electrical issues. -Participate in all safety initiatives and follow good manufacturing practices. -Perform additional tasks as assigned by leadership. Requirements -High school diploma or GED preferred. -Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience. -Forklift certification or the ability to be certified. -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. -Basic math and reading skills. -Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures. -Team player with good communication skills.
