Finishing Operator Job Details [Lawrenceburg, KY] [Monday – Thursday] | [6:00 am – 4:30 pm] [$20.50 – $21.50] Temp to hire Job Summary Operates machines and equipment to clean, deburr, finish shells, and plate product using detailed processes, chemicals, and work instructions. Finishing Operator Requirements -Make chemicals adds to process baths in accordance with work instructions. -Maintains equipment by inspecting and performing routine PM, reporting any issues to Management. -Operators burnish mills, dryers, plating equipment, and material handling equipment to clean, deburr, finish, plate, and transfer product. -Uses computer systems to operate equipment, enter production, access product standards, access work instructions, and access safety data. -Inspects product to verify product conformance. -Other duties as assigned. Qualification and Requirements Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualifications -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
