Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Rates:
- Day Shift: $22.75 per hour
- Night Shift: $25.00 per hour
- Weekend Shift: $25.00 per hour
Shift Schedules
Day Shift
Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Night Shift
Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Monday – Thursday | 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Weekend Shift
Friday – Sunday | 5:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Friday – Sunday | 5:30 AM – 6:30 PM
About the Mechanic Role
Crown Staffing is seeking experienced and dependable Mechanics to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. The Mechanic is responsible for machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, changeovers, preventive maintenance, and parts replacement to ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently, and within quality standards.
This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime, supporting production demands, and maintaining equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs during production.
- Complete scheduled preventive and progressive maintenance repairs.
- Replace parts at scheduled maintenance intervals.
- Read and interpret manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Mechanical components
- Electrical systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Packaging and production machinery
- Operate production and support equipment as needed to support production requirements.
- Document maintenance activities in maintenance logs and/or EAM work orders.
- Ensure equipment produces product within established QA standards.
- Perform assigned quality monitoring functions.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Comply with all Safety and Health rules.
- Utilize CMMS/EAM systems for:
- Work orders
- Parts usage
- Preventive maintenance tracking
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience or demonstrated aptitude in packaging line mechanical equipment repair,
or equivalent training and experience in a related field. - Ability to successfully perform all essential job duties.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability.
- May be required to pass Standard Timing Model (STM) testing.

- Ability to travel to other facilities or OEM production sites as needed for support or training.
