Job Description
They will train 7am-330pm and resume normal shift hours of 10am-630pm.
Doesn't need to have this specific background but must be fast learners and self-sufficient with minimal supervision. The Sanitation Technician is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production and blending equipment, the upkeep of manufacturing and production areas and the verification of weighing devices.
Performs cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and machinery
Follows all BOP's and BWI's for cleaning and sanitizing of blending and filling equipment
Completes daily, weekly, monthly and semi-annual cleaning checklists
Conducts fire extinguisher and eye wash station checks
Performs scale verifications weekly
Uses the proper protective equipment at all times
Trained on chemical handling and use
Work in accordance with all safety regulations and Best Sanitizers sop's and work instructions.
Has ability to be cross-trained to work in production and waste water when necessary
Help maintain the company's cleanliness in all areas
Operate scissor lift

Qualifications:
1 year cleaning and sanitation experience preferred
1 year of sit down forklift experience preferred
Strong time management skills
Thorough documentation and written communication skills
Works independently and follows through on assignments with minimal direction
Has the ability to interpret documents, regulations, operating instructions with accuracy
Previous forklift experience and certification preferred
Must be able to work flexible hours to include overtime when needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Reach and lift overhead
Crouch and lift from floor level
Ability to work in an elevated work area
Operate a fork lift–will train
Walk and stand up to 95%
Work in temperatures between 50° F to 85° F
PPE Required:
Respirator, over boots, dust mask, glasses/goggles, face shield, gloves, apron; when near open product, cleaning chemical spills or treating waste water
Steel toe or composite toe safety shoes
