CNC Machinist
Job Details
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | $30/hr
CNC Machinist Requirements:
Ability to set up, adjust, and operate a variety of CNC machines for close-tolerance work
Skilled in diagnosing and rectifying tooling problems and machine malfunctions
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and job layouts
Ability to perform tool changes and independent set-ups
Experience with manual lathes and mills is a plus
Ability to use standard machinist gauges to verify parts to specifications
Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, manual layout, and drilling/tapping of parts
About the CNC Machinist Role
As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
Set up, adjust, and operate various CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
Perform progressive machining on a diversified line of close-tolerance work
Diagnose and correct tooling issues and machine malfunctions
Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job layouts
Perform tool changes and machine set-ups independently
Edit CNC programs when necessary
Verify parts using standard machinist gauges throughout production
