Job Description
Thu-Fri 6am-6:30pm
$21.50 an hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Act as lead in a specific department with ability to flex to other departments as needed
Guide and train current and new employees on warehouse guidelines and new/updated procedures
Promote a positive team-oriented environment and lead by example
Help oversee daily assigned area
Enforce and maintain compliance and high quality standards with new and existing standards
Audit proactively to detect and solve problems
Ensure areas are ready for next shift ie all tasks completed, problem solve items solved
Communicate respectfully and effectively with associates when product quality is at risk
Identify training deficiencies in associates and work with them to improve accuracy
Maintain confidentiality
Assist on the floor in other areas when needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Able to read, write, and speak English
Strong problem-solving and motivational skills
Approachable, welcoming, and friendly
At least 1 year of experience in a quality, lead, or training role
Dependable and punctual
Sharp attention to detail
Hands-on and solution-oriented with ability to multitask as well as lead in fast-paced team environment
Flexible, able to effectively prioritize tasks
Outstanding organizational skills with both system and manual production environments
Lead by example with ability to motivate employees to maximize their efforts in productivity and quality
Computer experience including Gmail, Excel, Google Sheets
Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
Regularly bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
Ability to repeatedly lift and move items up to 50 pounds
Ability to use a pallet jack/push and roll carts
