Welder – Level 1 & Level 2 Location: Batavia, OH Company: Crown Staffing Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 5:45 AM – 4:30 PM Clock-in Time: 5:45 AM for a mandatory 6:00 AM team meeting Overtime: Fridays and Saturdays currently required (8–10 hour days) until production catches up. Must be open to overtime and weekend work. Pay Rates: -Level 1: $18 – $19/hour -Level 2: $19 – $20.99+/hour Level 1 Requirements: -Must pass 2F, 3F, and 4F GMAW welder qualification tests Level 2 Requirements (In addition to Level 1): -Pass a tape measure test (accurate to 1/16”) -Pass a blueprint reading written test -Pass a weld map written test -Pass a plasma cutter practical and written test Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Welders for a growing manufacturing operation in Batavia, OH. This position involves the fabrication, assembly, and welding of metal components based on blueprints and production requirements. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and willing to work overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities: -Read blueprints and measurements to plan layout and procedures -Set up and operate welding equipment based on job requirements -Operate grinders and other prep tools as needed -Weld in various positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead) -Align and clamp components using tape measures, squares, levels, etc. -Inspect finished welds and perform quality checks -Assist other welders to support production goals -Perform regular equipment cleaning and basic maintenance -Adhere to all safety standards and 5S practices -Lift over 50 lbs consistently; bend, kneel, and stand for 10-hour shifts -Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
