Requirements of the General Laborer : – Entry-level General Labor – Must be able to stand in one spot for extended periods of time – Must be able to count, read, and write – Must be able to do heavy lifting on their own – Must be able to work overtime – Previous experience in manufacturing environment or equivalent job related training preferred but not required – Excellent attendance – Attention to detail – Effectively solve conflict in a courteous and professional manner – Ability to work and make decisions independently – 12 panel DT required – Dress Code-Jeans(small holes acceptable), t-shirts, no sleeveless shirts and nothing offensive Responsibilities of the General Laborer: – Will be blanking metal (blanks sheets, rolls, tubes) – Assisting on presses that blank parts – Handling steel – Collecting off slitting machine and stacking – Will be learning all roles of the facility during the period before hire on Benefits of the General Laborer: – Temp To Hire ( attendance and performance is considered when making a decision) – Pay increase to minimum $22 once hired on – Growth opportunities – Benefits once hired on: Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K once hired on -Crown offers Medical, Vision, and Dental after 30 days of employment, Vacation pay (40 HRS) after 1500 hours consecutively worked, and Holiday pay after you have met the 1500 hours consecutively worked -Position starts on 1st shift to train for up to a month(7 am to 3:30p or 7 am to 5:30 pm).
