Boom Truck Operator – CDL B Job Details Location: Louisville, KY Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Overtime Available Pay: $25.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience) Type: Temp to Hire About the Boom Truck Operator Role Crown Staffing is seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator – CDL B to safely and efficiently transport, lift, and move materials on residential job sites. This role is ideal for someone with experience operating crane or boom equipment, a valid Class B CDL, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities -Operate crane and boom truck equipment to move and position materials on job sites -Drive crane truck to and from work locations to deliver and retrieve materials -Calculate load capacities based on weight and equipment specifications -Inspect overhead lines, ground conditions, and clearances to ensure safe crane operation -Perform daily inspections and maintenance on crane, extensions, and grease points -Maintain vehicle and crane cleanliness -Follow proper panel care and maintenance procedures -Communicate effectively with team and office, responding promptly to requests -Attend safety and operational meetings as required -Comply with all federal, state, and company safety policies and practices -Assist with general labor duties as needed, such as setting, pouring, and squaring homes Requirements -Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) -NCCCO or NCCER Crane Certification required -OSHA 10-hour certification required -Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues -Effective communication and teamwork skills -Panel management experience preferred but not required -Minimum 1 year of construction experience preferred -Ability to lift, maneuver, and work in outdoor environments for extended periods About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
