About the Manual Machinist (Saw Shop) Role -Manuel lathes, Bridgeport or vertical turning lathes -Safely operate shop equipment to cut metal materials using band saw and possibly other power tools. -Attention to detail, commitment to quality -Properly set up equipment using appropriate feeds and speeds, following instructions -Use of calipers-manual -Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues -Maintain a clean and organized work environment
