Our client is a full-service sheet metal fabricator located in the St. Charles, IL area. They are looking for Press Brake Setup Operators. Pay will be based on experience but can range $25-$29/hour. 1st and 2nd shifts available! The Laser and Turret Punch Press Setup Operator role will involve setup, tooling and loading in machine to produce a variety of small, medium and/or large parts, ranging from simple to complex, which are within prescribed tolerances. The responsibilities of the Press Brake Setup Operator position will include but are not limited to: • Operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective AMADA brand equipment • Perform machine set-ups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc. • Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and/or materials to Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC) • Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision • Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control
