Registered Nurse (ICU) Job Details Lexington, KY Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Pay: $47.00/hour Overtime possible 13-week contract Registered Nurse (ICU) Requirements -Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience -Strong neuro ICU experience highly preferred -Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (required) -BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required) -Two professional references required -First-time travelers are accepted About the Registered Nurse (ICU) Role -Manage airway and ventilated patients -Handle arterial lines (Artline) and central line management -Perform continuous IV sedation and titration of IV vasopressors -Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias -Administer and manage IV drips -Implement isolation precautions -Utilize EPIC for computerized documentation -Conduct NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) assessments -Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1–2+ -Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure -Work 3–4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies to build rewarding careers and strong organizations.
