Job Description
Crown Staffing is looking for a Rental Equipment Service Technician for our partner in Raleigh NC. The Service Tech will service and maintain all rental equipment and prepare rental orders for customer delivery. This position regularly requires operation of a Company Vehicle or a Personal Vehicle for more than 20% of the average work week. As a condition of employment, an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required. If selected for this position, the Company will conduct an MVR report.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- Clean rental equipment by removing dirt, concrete, and other debris
- Ensure all rental equipment is in good, usable condition prior to customer delivery
- Oil and lubricate tools, equipment, and tilt-up braces according to specifications
- Prepare, stage, and organize rental orders for delivery
- Inspect returned rental equipment for damage and report issues according to established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental area and equipment
- Follow all safety policies, company procedures, and maintenance standards
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to operate Company or Personal Vehicle as required
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Attention to detail and commitment to equipment quality and safety
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment
- Warehouse, yard, and outdoor work areas
- Exposure to dirt, concrete residue, grease, and weather conditions
- Hands-on, physical work environment
