Production Supervisor Job Details Indianapolis, IN Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 3:00pm | $50K – $55K Production Supervisor Requirements -Must have a High School Diploma or GED -3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role preferably in manufacturing -Proficiency in basic Math skills -Excellent communicator, both verbally and written -Mechanically inclined -Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plus -Demonstrate an understanding of Quality Systems (i.e. ISO9001) -Good Decision-making skills -5-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus -Proficiency using Measurement Tools (i.e. Tape Measure, Digital Calipers, etc.) -Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) About the Production Supervisor Role As Production Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: -Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity -Maintain a safe work environment -Schedule production for the department and meet production requirements -Coordinate requirements and schedules with other departments -Supervise up to 30 production hourly employees -Adjust workforce based on workload -Troubleshoot and solve production problems -Evaluate and improve production efficiency -Follow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, human resources, and continuous improvement) -Some Extended hours & Weekends as necessary -Drive & Implement improvement & Lean initiatives Why Work With Our Client Once hired-on, employees can expect: Base weekly rate + Overtime rate Healthcare plans And more!
