Outbound Lead Job Details

Location: Louisville, KY

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30am-5:30pm

Pay: $25/hour

About the Outbound Lead Role

Crown Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Outbound Lead to join a fast-paced logistics operation in Louisville, KY. This role is responsible for leading the outbound shipping team to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate shipments while maintaining high customer satisfaction and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and coordinate outbound operations under the direction of the Outbound Supervisor

-Maintain high customer satisfaction and product quality

-Supervise team performance, provide training, and handle scheduling

-Oversee the picking, packing, labeling, and shipping processes

-Ensure proper handling of customs documentation and hazardous materials

-Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, and customer service teams

-Monitor order fulfillment timelines and organize distribution flow

-Maintain warehouse cleanliness and enforce safety protocols

-Perform data entry and system updates

-Complete additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

-High School Diploma or GED required

-3+ years of warehouse experience (minimum 1 year in a lead role)

-Experience with WMS and shipping systems

-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

-Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills

-Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
