Job Description
Crown Staffing is looking for a qualified Accounting Coordinator. Based in Leeds, AL and reporting directly to the Cost Manager, the Accounting Coordinator will serve as a key member of the Finance team and provide support for a variety of costing and inventory activities. This position is responsible for supporting the ongoing maintenance of standard costs, month end closing activities, reporting and controls.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly closing and reporting process, using financial reporting systems
- Working with Bill of Materials and Product Routings through SAP system.
- Assist in monthly variance analysis including, but not limited to, PPV, freight, material usage, production order, labor, and burden (overhead) variances
- Providing analysis and support to Internal and External Audits of the businesses.
- Reviewing, analyzing and updating standard product costs as they relate to labor, material and overhead.
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories and reconcile all differences.
- Assisting with department spending analysis and facility budgets and forecasts.
- Support for internal and external audit activities
- Complete ad hoc financial information requests
Skills and Experience:
- 1-3 years cost accounting experience using SAP or similar ERP in a manufacturing environment.
- Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Strong analytical, planning and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel & Word.
Education
Associates degree in accounting or related field preferred
$60,000-$64,000 annually Depending on Experience
