Job Description
A leading distributor and fabricator of insulation and materials for fire protection and refractory applications in Hammond, IN is looking for Machine Operators to operate Band Saws.
These are 1st shift temp to perm positions, 6am-2:30pm with the possibility of overtime that can include 12 hour shifts.
Pay will start at $16.50/hour.
What will you do:
-Set up and operate a Band Saw
-Efficiently measure material
-Verify quality of manufactured products
-Various duties as assigned by the supervisor

What you must have:
-1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
-Previous experience in machine operation or band saw operation is a plus!
-Must have strong measurement skills including the ability to read and comprehend tape measure or measuring device
-Must have strong mechanical skills
-Must be able to comply with pre-employment screens
