Summary /Objective:
It is the job of the Building maintenance employee to do installation, repairs and perform routine maintenance at/on the buildings, structures and machinery of the company to maintain a clean, safe and functional environment for the employees.

Essential Functions:
Visually inspects building and structures for safety, good repair and working condition, tests machinery and equipment.
Perform maintenance on Pipes and electrical systems when necessary.
Prep areas for painting and complete drywall repair and painting.
Cleans and maintains work area, tools and equipment and keeps supplies and parts in order.
Performs minor repairs, such as replacing fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches.
Repair doorways and windows and other external areas of buildings.
Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
Applies safe operating procedures and properly uses and operates tools, supplies and materials while performing work.
Operate a sit down and stand- up forklift and maintain certification.
Assist Maintenance Technician in the repair of machinery.
Maintains accurate records for preventative maintenance schedules.
Communicates daily with supervisors on status of repairs and facility maintenance schedule.
Follow all Safety procedures and policies including Lock Out/ Tag Out guidelines.
Physical Efforts:
This associate will be required to lift at least 50 pounds several times during the work shift. The position requires the associate to stand for long periods of time on a regular basis. They must be able to bend at the waist, twist their body, squat/stoop, raise their arms above their head, crawl on hands and knees, and have the manual dexterity to operate commercial type tools. The associate may also be required to maneuver their body into tight work spaces and work in a dusty environment. Hearing must be acute enough to hear horns and back up beepers on equipment.
