About the Maintenance Technician Role
Crown Staffing is seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations in Shelbyville, KY. This role requires a strong combination of mechanical and electrical experience, with a focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Align, fit, and assemble components using hand and power tools
- Test electro-mechanical assemblies using appropriate testing equipment
- Perform maintenance and repairs on AC motors, PLCs, and electrical controls
- Troubleshoot industrial electronic systems, motor controls, and logic panels
- Work with relays, timers, counters, and control systems
- Maintain and repair systems including air compressors, pneumatic, hydraulic, and chilled water systems
- Perform welding, plasma cutting, and use oxy-acetylene torch as needed
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and all safety guidelines
- Work at heights using scissor lifts, catwalks, or ladders as required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Strong experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
