Pay: $27.50/hour
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Crown Staffing is hiring a Robot Weld Technician for a manufacturing facility in Shelbyville, KY. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding and manufacturing experience who wants to work in a more technical role involving robotic welding equipment, troubleshooting, setup, and process support.
This is not just a standard welding position. We are looking for someone comfortable working around robotics, fixtures, tooling, and production support, and who can help keep equipment and processes running smoothly.

What you’ll do
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment
Assist with robotic programming changes, such as position points and arc start files
Make fixture, tooling, datum, and sensor adjustments as needed
Support welding operations and maintain welding qualifications
Perform preventative maintenance on robotic welding equipment and related components
Help train operators, welders, and inspectors on proper equipment use and procedures
Work with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve equipment and process issues
Complete required reports and production documentation
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement efforts
Help manage welding consumables and maintain inventory levels
Follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
Maintain a safe and organized work area

What we’re looking for
High school diploma or GED
1–3 years of manufacturing or welding experience preferred
Experience with robotics, jigs, fixtures, or gas metal arc welding (GMAW) is a plus
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work well with multiple departments in a manufacturing environment
