Job Description
Maintenance Technician
Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM | $28.00/hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory (5–10 hours/week)
Maintenance Technician Requirements Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting experience with:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical components
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- Pumps & material handling equipment
- Ability to operate forklift, scissor lift, and pallet jack
- Must provide own basic tools (diagnostic equipment and major tools provided)
- Moderate knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and environmental regulations
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical procedures
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to manage multiple work orders in a fast-paced environment
About the Maintenance Technician Role
As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Performing preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled repairs
- Diagnosing equipment failures and implementing corrective actions
- Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other material handling equipment
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and procedures
- Managing and prioritizing multiple maintenance work orders
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Performing welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed
- Communicating repair status updates and timelines to supervisors
- Supporting production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
