About the Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Pharmacist to support medication management and patient care. This role involves reviewing prescriptions, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing, and collaborating closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for a licensed pharmacist looking to work in a structured, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review medication orders for accuracy, proper dosage, and potential interactions
- Ensure medications are correctly prepared, labeled, and dispensed
- Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare teams regarding medication-related questions
- Supervise the preparation and dispensing of medications
- Recommend therapy changes when appropriate
- Investigate and resolve medication-related issues
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and clinical data
Requirements
- Active Pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky (required)
- Previous long-term care experience preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Reliable and organized work style
- Computer proficiency; experience with FrameworkLTC is a plus
