About the Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an Entry-Level Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of food-grade tanker trucks and trailers.
No prior mechanic experience is required—this is a great opportunity to learn a skilled trade with hands-on training in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with inspections of tanker trucks and trailers
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, tire checks, and minor repairs
- Help repair or replace components like hoses, valves, gaskets, and fittings
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following food-grade standards
- Identify and report mechanical or safety concerns
- Safely use hand tools and shop equipment
- Complete basic maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and workplace guidelines
Training Provided
- Basic diesel and trailer maintenance fundamentals
- Safe use of tools and shop equipment
- Preventive maintenance inspection processes
- Food-grade equipment handling and contamination prevention
- OSHA and workplace safety practices
Requirements
- No prior mechanic experience required
- Mechanical interest or aptitude preferred
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Dependable with strong attention to safety
