Job Description
Packer
Monday – Friday | 7am – 3pm| $19.00/hour
- Overtime possible and mandatory
Packer Requirements
- Previous warehouse or packing experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
- Forklift experience
- Ability to lift, stack, and move packages safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
About the Packer Role
As a Packer, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and packaging products for shipment according to order requirements
- Weighing packages and labeling them accurately
- Inspecting packages to ensure quality and prevent damage
- Inspecting shipping containers to ensure compliance with shipping regulations
- Assembling daily orders by shipping location or category
- Maintaining accurate records including delivery notes and invoices
- Completing packing and order forms with correct shipping information
- Sealing shipping containers and labeling them appropriately
- Cleaning and maintaining shipping containers and packing supplies
- Performing quality control checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
