About the Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to support projects involving the construction and maintenance of overhead and garage doors in Lexington, KY. This role plays a key part in project planning by developing accurate cost estimates and collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
This is a great opportunity for someone with construction estimating experience who enjoys working in a team-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop accurate cost estimates
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine labor, material, and time requirements
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and subcontractors to adjust estimates as needed
- Prepare estimates to support project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Assist with vendor and subcontractor selection processes
- Utilize estimating software to organize and track project costs
- Analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve accuracy
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all estimates
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Previous construction estimating experience required
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints or project plans
- Experience with commercial construction projects preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
